What is my username?
Your username for OxfordArts.info is the same as the email address you used to sign up.

Help, I've forgotten my password
Don't worry, you can request a password reminder. Simply fill in your current username (remember, it's the email address you used to register with) and submit and you'll receive a new, random password by return mail.

I've definitely got my username and password right but I can't log in.
The OxfordArts.info web site uses cookies to allow you to log in. It may be that your browser software is not allowing you to accept cookies. Please read the information below to check if this is the case.

Cookies are allowed, but I still can't log in
Please contact support with your username and tell us as many details about your system as you can provide (internet browser version, computer operating system ie 'Internet Explorer version 6 running on Windows XP Pro').

Internet Explorer (v.5 and above): Tools | Internet Options | Privacy | Check your security Settings rating. Whichever setting you are on, you can set specific settings for OxfordArts.info by clicking the 'Sites' button. Now add 'oxfordarts.info' in the Address of Web site field and click 'Allow'.

RSS

What is RSS?
RSS is an easy way for you to keep updated automatically on websites you like. Instead of you having to go to websites to see if they've written a new article or feature, you can use RSS (which stands for Really Simple Syndication) to get them to tell you every time they have something new.

OxfordArts.info now offers an RSS feed for its weekly events listings.

How can I make use of RSS?
In general you need to get hold of a program called a News Reader. This displays RSS information feeds from your chosen websites on your computer.

All you then have to do is choose which RSS feeds you want.

How do I get a News Reader?
There are a range of different News Readers available.

Different News Readers work on different operating systems, so you will need to take this into account when you make your choice.

How can I sign up to RSS feeds from OxfordArts.info?
RSS version Click on the link on the left that says 'RSS version'.

You then need to follow the instructions for your particular News Reader in order to add this XML feed to your RSS list.

On the Firefox browser
Using the Firefox browser you can add an RSS feed as a Live Bookmark. Live bookmarks are a special type of bookmark that acts as a folder to contain the links in a feed. You can create a live bookmark by visiting a site with a feed, clicking on the live bookmark icon (left) in the Status Bar or the location bar (depending on the version of Firefox you are running), and selecting the feed format you wish to use.

Can I use the RSS feed on my site?
